Each language edition links to its original and shares the same evidence chain. Translations of one entry must not be counted as independent historical sources.
Fields
The JSON schema version is 2. collection identifies the category, id the edition, translationKey groups language versions of an entry, and languages identifies the language. translationOf and sourceUpdated record the original and its version date. sources contains references; body contains Markdown text.
Use
CSV uses a UTF-8 BOM; sources_json can be parsed as JSON. Text that could be interpreted as a spreadsheet formula is prefixed with an apostrophe. Prefer JSON for exact machine processing.
Root-level exports contain all languages; language-prefixed exports contain only that edition. Original editorial text is under CC BY 4.0. Retain specific sources and scope; third-party material remains subject to its own rights.
